Michele's Dance Academy

Michele's Dance Academy is the home of the Las Cruces Chamber Ballet.   The ballet company was founded in 1983 by Michele Self to promote classical ballet and dance in the Las Cruces area and to provide the serious dancer with opportunities to develop their talents with a professional performance experience.   Each year the LCCB performs the Nutcracker Ballet in December and a Spring Production.   The artistic director is Mr. Kevin Self.   All rehearsals are conducted at the academy.   Members of the company perform throughout the year at community functions.
